how to create a vision for your new life

In order to create a new life, we have to envision it and believe it possible. How do we do this? By impressing the subconscious. The subconscious is like our own personal genie. Your wish is its command. Whatever you are constantly focusing your attention on, the subconscious brings about. Most people are totally unaware of this fact/law – and so by not consciously focusing on what they want, they bring about a lot of unwanted stuff, by constantly focusing (mostly by default) on all the negatives in life. Example: If you constantly complain about your spouse, the subconscious will create events to worsen or dissolve your marriage. So for goodness sake, wake up, get conscious and start programming your subconscious with thoughts and ideas of what you really want in your life.
Everything in your visible/material world is a manifestation of your inner/invisible world. As within, so without. By our fruits/results we know what we have been really thinking and believing, versus what we want to believe. We are man-ifestors. We create/manifest our reality by the power of our thoughts. Whatever we pay most attention to, is the reality/experience we buy. So, use that power, to bring about your good, your dreams, versus your fears, worries and nightmares.
Ok, now that we have that straight, let’s focus on the good.
The best and quickest way to begin to impress the subconscious is by visualization. It’s cool to make affirmations and imagine, but I have found that it is even more powerful to create a vision board or movie that you can refer to each and every day and thus etch the ideas into your subconscious. Once these ideas/desires are impressed upon the subconscious, your personal genie, this faithful servant will bring it to pass. Your job, is to see it and believe it possible. As you believe, so you receive. You cannot receive/manifest anything you do not fully believe without a shade of a doubt to be possible.
Choose your format. Vision Board or Movie?
This is entirely up to you and your personal learning/intake style.
Only you know, which format is going to impress your subconscious and make things click as possibilities.
What you will need
Vision Board: A stack of magazines. A poster board. Scissors. Glue stick.
Vision Movie: A digital library of images. Image editing software, like Photoshop. Movie making program, such as imovie. A soundtrack.
8 Tips For Creating Your Vision Board or Movie
1. Get clear on what do you want
Before you just start chopping random pictures, do some prep. If you’re not sure what you want to manifest into your new and improved, kick-ass life, take some time to sit down with pen and paper and answer these questions:
- 1.Who do you want to be?
- 2.What do you want?
- 3.When do you want it?
- 4.Where do you want to be?
Answer the questions without inhibition or fear. It’s your life, shape and envision what your really, really want. Don’t limit things by your current logic and bank account. Let your imagination soar. Don’t be dull! Unless, of course you want a dull new life.
2. Be Specific as Possible
The more details you can provide, the better. Don’t just cut out any old picture of a house, find the one the most resembles your dream house. Use pictures of yourself, your friends and family and plop them into that picture of the perfect house, dream vacation. Superimpose your face onto that ideal body pic. The more you can visualize yourself into your ideals the more it becomes possible and attainable. See it to believe it!
3. Thoughts, Words and Affirmations
As discussed, your thoughts and words shape your life. So, load up your vision board or movie with powerful affirmations either in text or spoken word.
4. Cover All Departments of Your Life
Include as many pictures as possible, covering every aspect of your perfect life. If you don’t include it, it’s literally left out of the picture. So cover all the bases of perfect health, wealth, self-expression, career, love, family, friendships etc.
5. View Repeatedly, Morning and Evening
Repetition is key in impressing the subconscious with new ideas. Begin and end every day by programming your mind with your visualization board or movie. Stare at your vision board. Get into the pictures, read out the affirmations. Watch your movie over and over, soak it in. Watch it on the computer, burn it to DVD and watch it on TV. Become one with your dream, believe it is coming. Let your subconscious work on solutions while you sleep.
6. Don’t Worry About the How, That’s Not Your Job
Don’t start worrying about how you are going to bring these events to pass. That will just limit your scope and bring you right back to dullsville. Leave the details of how all this is gonna come about to the subconscious and the Universe. Trust that the Universe and your subconscious know the way. The Universe has a million solutions for any situation, compared to your limited ideas – so let go of that part. Your job is to work on programming your subconscious mind. The subconscious, your personal genie, will then seek to solve the problem.
7. Take Action!
Visualization is an amazing tool to get things in motion, but you also have to take action! Once the subconscious has been impressed, it will then start giving you clues as to what actions you need to take. So keep your eyes and ears open to the new ideas, opportunities and solutions that will be opening up to you. The subconscious will speak through your intuition, so tune in and trust what it asks you to do. More than likely you will be asked to think and do stuff outside your usual box – how else are you gonna expand your life?
8. Most importantly, Have Fun!
Be as a happy as a child at play. You are co-creating your new and splendiferous life – make it a fun process. Create with the energy of love, faith and expectancy. Love and happy expectancy are irresistible magnets of attraction. As you believe, so you receive! Believe everything you want is possible and inevitable.
